Văn
phòng Ngân hàng Thế giới tại Việt Nam (Trung tâm Thông tin Phát triển Việt
Nam - VDIC) cần tuyển một cán bộ tư vấn ngắn hạn trong lĩnh vực giám sát và
đánh giá có chuyên môn và kinh nghiệm phù hợp nhằm thực hiện việc đánh giá
công tác triển khai Chương trình Học tập Tổng hợp Việt Nam (VBLP) và cung cấp
hỗ trợ kỹ thuật cho nhóm công tác VBLP trong các hoạt động giám sát và đánh
giá dự án. Cán bộ tư vấn sẽ làm việc với nhóm công tác VBLP, các nhân viên
của VDIC và các cán bộ tư vấn khác cũng như tư vấn cho Ban Chỉ đạo VBLP. Cán
bộ tư vấn sẽ báo báo cho Lãnh đạo Nhóm và làm việc tại Văn phòng Ngân hàng
Thế giới tại Hà Nội. Hạn

Conditional
Cash Transfers: Reducing Present and Future Poverty by Ariel Fiszbein, Norbert Schady English Paperback -- Published February 2009 by

reduce poverty by making welfare programs conditional upon the receivers'
actions. That is, the government only transfers the money to persons who meet
certain criteria. These criteria may include enrolling children into public
schools, getting regular check-ups at the doctor's office, receiving
vaccinations, or the like. They have been hailed as a way of reducing
inequality and helping households break out of a vicious cycle whereby
poverty is transmitted from one generation to another. Do these and other
claims make sense? Are they supported by the available empirical evidence?
This volume seeks to answer these and other related questions. Specifically,
it lays out a conceptual framework for thinking about the economic rationale
for CCTs; it reviews the very rich evidence that has accumulated on CCTs,; it
discusses how the conceptual framework and the evidence on impacts should
inform the design of CCT programs in practice; and it discusses how CCTs fit
in the context of broader social policies. The authors show that there is
considerable evidence that CCTs have improved the lives of poor people and
argue that conditional cash transfers have been an effective way of
redistributing income to the poor. They also recognize that even the
best-designed and managed CCT cannot fulfill all of the needs of a
comprehensive social protection system. They therefore need to be
complemented with other interventions, such as workfare or employment

phần Sáng kiến của Bộ phận Quản lý Ngành khu vực Đông Á-Thái Bình Dương,
chương trình quảng bá việc phổ biến và trao đổi tri thức, nhóm Quản lý Rủi ro
Thiên tai khu vực Đông Á-Thái Bình Dương (DRM), phối hợp với Mạng lưới Đào
tạo Phát triển Toàn cầu (GDLN) tổ chức loạt hội thảo đào tạo và chia sẻ tri
thức dành cho các bên liên quan tại các quốc gia trong vùng cũng như nhân
viên làm việc tại các văn phòng quốc gia của Ngân hàng Thế giới. Hội thảo
trên cầu truyền hình này sẽ tập trung vào ba lĩnh vực chính: 1) Lập kế hoạch
phục hồi sau thảm họa; 2) Tài chính cho quản lý rủi ro và các sản phẩm tài
chính mới của Ngân hàng Thế giới; và 3) Cách tiếp cận của địa phương với việc
quản lý rủi ro thiên tai. Để

Công bố Thông tin (Disclosure Unit) của Ngân hàng Thế giới chịu trách nhiệm
triển khai và công bố các tài liệu liên quan đến chính sách công bố thông tin

Thanh niên không chỉ hưởng lợi từ sáng kiến toàn cầu này mà họ còn cần phải
đóng vai trò dẫn đầu trong phong trào này. Chủ để của cuộc thi năm nay là
“Vai trò của khoa học trong việc xây dựng một thế giới tốt đẹp hơn”. Thanh
niên khắp thế giới, tối đa là 25 tuổi, có thể tham dự. Bài tiểu luận dài
